Can I become a Nail Tech without going to Cosmetology School?

I have heard you can apprentice, but I am not sure how that works.Can I become a Nail Tech without going to Cosmetology School?
You can take the nail tech class at a cosmotology school. that doesnt mean u have to take cosmotology, its only like a 5 month course or something. Why is it a big deal to go to cosmotology college? I love it. give it a try.Can I become a Nail Tech without going to Cosmetology School?
no. a nail tech needs to pass a stateboard exam to receive their license.
