I am a nail tech and lately my acrylic nails are either falling off or lifting after 2-3 days Please Help.?

Maybe it's the acrylic itself...try a new type.I am a nail tech and lately my acrylic nails are either falling off or lifting after 2-3 days Please Help.?
What you describe is most often caused by improper prep of the natural nail. But seriously, you need to have truly clean, oil free and well prepped nails before you start the acrylic application. And once the nails have been prepped well, make sure you don't touch them since that will put oil back into them, and that little bit of oil from your fingers could make them lift in no time at all. Also, avoid getting ANY acrylic into the sidewalls, or touching the cuticles. Leave about 1/16th inch of a margin free of product all around the nail. This will help in itself. When acrylic touches skin, it tends to absorb the natural oils from it and that will cause lifting as well. Use of good acrylic products never hurts either. Always use top of the line products. Oh, and another thing that will cause lifting is working too wet - using too much monomer in other words. When you work too wet, the product shrinks too much when curing. And of course, that often causes lifting. Don't forget about primer either! I like the non-acid type simply because it's safer and doesn't stink as badly, lol! But, if you forget to use primer, the nail can lift, or fall off after a day or two. Been there, done that! It can be easy to forget even the basics sometimes, especially when you get sidetracked by other things.

I hope this helps!I am a nail tech and lately my acrylic nails are either falling off or lifting after 2-3 days Please Help.?
