You need to use a odorless acrylic. You can also buy a neutralizer that you can put in regular monomer to help get rid of the strong smell. I'm surprised since you are a nail tech that you do not know about odorless acrylic. I find it very strange.
You MUST have an open window and if nothing else works put a tiny dab of vicks vapor rub under your nose.
