My friend works 4 days a week with an established clientele and makes about $300/day. She has been doing this for 6 years. You have to buid your clients. The chop shops I would stay away from. You work like a slave. My friend charges $65 for a new set, $60 for a pedi and $45 for fills. Go to a high end salon. You won't work as hard. But you have to LOVE what you do....you don't start off making $1500/week!!!What's the average yearly salary for a nail tech?
At the salon I go to she get $12000 a year plus tip. Maincure is $48 pedicure is $65, so you can see it is mid-priced. But she get from $100 to $250 a day in tips, but she also had her butt dragged in front of the IRS and they took both her cars for not paying taxes.
