Why is it when you are getting your nails done, the tech wears a mask but they never offer the client one?

Just wondering, we are breathing in the same fumes...Why is it when you are getting your nails done, the tech wears a mask but they never offer the client one?
well the person who does your nails breathes in the fumes for longer than you. you breathing in the small amount of fumes each time you get your nails done isn't a big deal, but the nail artists breath the fumes in all day everyday and that kind of exposure is harmful...hence why they wear the masks and you don't...i hope this makes sense :)Why is it when you are getting your nails done, the tech wears a mask but they never offer the client one?
no problem...i personally can't stand the smell whenever i go, so i will probably ask for the mask next time too! :)

maybe they are super hero wanna bees! or maybe just rude!
Good question! Maybe it is so they dont get any nail stuff in their mouth... LOL... I will ask next time!!
it depends on who you get your nails done bye if you get them done Chinese people i am not racist but an y ways they have chemical in the powder that can harm your lung if you want a mask you can ask them and they will give you one
I think its because they are breathing on your nails with all that bacteria and stuff and your not breathing on their nails with that bacteria so their for you dont need one.......
More exposure, Need mask.

The powders, fumes and germs would make a person sick. The mask could be the same as at a dentists office. Germs!
But they are breathing the fumes ALL DAY, and you are just there for an hour.
A good question for your tech. Also ask for a mask for yourself.
i really dont know they just dont think
it is for 'your' protection as it was explained to me. They get so close to you and your nail beds that you don't want to get anything they might have.
i been thinking the same thing
